ADHD Therapy
In Person and Virtual in New York City
Support that fits your season, not just your symptoms.
Your Space to Reset
ADHD is not a flaw in your character or a failure of effort. It’s a neurodivergent way of experiencing attention, time, motivation, emotion, and the world around you, one that many workplaces, schools, and systems were never designed to support.
Our clinicians help you make sense of your unique experience, not the textbook version of ADHD. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what isn’t, and why, without the shame spiral that so many people carry into their first session.
This is therapy that takes your whole life seriously, not just the symptoms on a checklist.
Do I Need a Formal Diagnosis to Start ADHD Therapy, or Can I Come in Just Feeling Like Something’s Off?
You don’t need a diagnosis to walk through the door. A lot of people come in with a suspicion; they’ve spent years feeling scattered, overwhelmed by things that seem simple for others, or stuck in cycles of avoidance and last-minute scrambling that they can’t seem to break no matter how much they want to.
If you’ve already been diagnosed, therapy can help you move past “I know I have ADHD” into understanding what that actually means for your relationships, your work, and your sense of self.
If you haven’t been diagnosed, we can work with what you’re experiencing right now. You don’t have to have a label to deserve support.
For some people, therapy surfaces patterns that point toward ADHD. For others, it’s the first place anyone has asked the right questions. Either way, you’ll leave with more clarity than you came in with.
Knowing what you need to do but being unable to start it
Losing track of time, deadlines, and conversations
Feeling emotions more intensely than situations seem to call for
Exhaustion from working twice as hard to keep up
A long history of being told you're smart but not living up to your potential
Relationships strained by forgetfulness, distraction, or impulsivity
How is Your Approach to ADHD Therapy Different From Other NYC Therapists?
Therapy for ADHD should actually account for how ADHD works, which means we’re not handing you a planner and sending you off with good intentions.
We don’t have a one-size program. Some clients want practical tools for executive function. Others are working through the emotional weight of a late diagnosis, or untangling decades of being told they weren’t trying hard enough. We follow your lead.
Our approach is collaborative and direct. We’ll name things clearly, adjust when something isn’t landing, and track what’s changing over time. Growth is possible, and it tends to look different from what people expected when they started.

Frequently Asked Questions
What actually happens in a session?
Sessions are conversational, but intentional. We’ll explore what’s coming up for you, look at patterns over time, and introduce tools that help you feel more grounded and in control. Some days are reflective, others are more action-oriented. It evolves with you.
Do I need to have a specific problem to start therapy?
Not at all. Many people start therapy because they want more clarity, balance, or self-understanding, not because something is “wrong.”
How long does therapy take?
That depends on your goals. Some clients come for a specific season or transition, while others stay longer for deeper, ongoing work. We’ll collaborate on what feels right for you.
What types of therapy do you use?
We integrate psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and positive psychology. In simple terms: we help you understand the “why,” while also giving you tools for the “now.”
Will therapy really make a difference?
Yes, but not overnight. Therapy is a process. With consistency, most clients notice meaningful shifts in how they think, feel, and show up in their lives.
