You don't have to do this alone.
You don't have to navigate this season on your own. In person and virtual in New York City.
Your Space to Breathe
Becoming a mother changes everything. Your body, your identity, your relationships, the way you see yourself. Some of that shift is beautiful, but a lot is disorienting, and it can be hard to know who you are inside it all.
Therapy is a place to set that down, without having to explain yourself or hold it together for anyone.
Our clinicians work with you one on one to help you process what this season is bringing up, the parts you expected and the parts no one warned you about. The goal isn't just to get through the days. It's to feel present and grounded inside them, connected to who you are and trusting in your capability.

Six therapists with different specialties, so you can find the right match for this season.
Our clinicians have specific training in the emotional terrain of motherhood.
The fourth trimester can carry a heaviness no one prepared you for. Therapy gives you a place to name what you're feeling and start finding your way back to steadier ground.
A difficult delivery or NICU stay can stay with you long after it's over. Therapy creates space to process what happened, at your pace, without anyone rushing you past it.
Becoming a mother changes who you are, and figuring out who that new person is takes real time. Therapy helps you find a sense of self that feels like yours again.
Parenthood changes relationships, sometimes in ways that are hard to talk about. Therapy helps you and your partner understand what's shifted and find your way back to each other.
The road to parenthood isn't the same for everyone, and the grief and complexity of that journey deserve their own space, even after a child arrives.
The relentless pace of caregiving can leave nothing left for yourself. Therapy helps you reclaim some part of your life that belongs only to you.
Is what you're feeling normal postpartum, or do you need support?
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. For many mothers, it begins with a quieter, harder-to-name feeling. Maybe you love your child deeply and still feel a grief you can't explain, for your old life, your old body, your old sense of freedom.
You might be snapping more than you'd like, crying without warning, or lying awake with a mind that won't stop. You're doing all the things, and yet you feel more alone than you ever have.
Wherever you are in the motherhood experience, this is a place to stop performing and start processing, so you can show up more fully for yourself and the people you love.

These are some of the shifts our clients notice over time, even in the middle of a relentless season.
A nervous system that doesn't feel like it's constantly bracing
More moments of actual rest, even in the chaos.
More patience and presence with your child and yourself
Less running on empty, more actually being there.
A clearer, more stable sense of who you are as a mother
An identity that feels like yours, not a role you're performing.
Relationships that feel more connected and less strained
More understanding between you and the people you love.
Permission to take up space, and actually mean it
Your needs counted as real, not an afterthought.
How is our approach to postpartum therapy different?
Motherhood doesn't come with one storyline, so we don't bring one approach to it. Some sessions focus on processing what happened during birth or the early weeks. Others are about untangling who you are now, separate from the role you've stepped into.
We combine insight oriented work with real, grounded tools, so you leave sessions with both a deeper understanding of yourself and something practical to carry into your day.
Why we choose not to work with insurance
- You don't need a mental health diagnosis to come to therapy.
- Session notes stay between you and your therapist. Nothing is shared with a third party.
- We decide together how often you come and for how long, based on what's helpful, not what an insurer approves.
- Private pay lets us keep our caseloads smaller, which means more time, attention, and care for each client.

Questions about postpartum & motherhood therapy, answered
We know this season brings up a lot of questions. Here are the ones we hear most often, and if something isn't covered, we're always happy to talk it through.
Book a Free Consultation →It's hard to know on your own, and that's part of why support helps. Postpartum depression and anxiety can show up in many forms, from persistent sadness to relentless worry to a numbness you can't quite explain. A consultation is a good first step to start sorting out what you're experiencing and what kind of support might help.
Whenever you feel ready. Some clients start in the first few weeks, others wait months or even years before reaching out. There's no required timeline, and no point at which it becomes "too late" to get support.
It depends on what you're working through. Some people find real relief within a few months of consistent support. Others stay longer, especially while navigating an ongoing identity shift. We check in regularly and adjust based on what's useful to you.
We offer virtual sessions specifically because we know how hard it can be to find childcare and carve out time in this season. Many clients join sessions from home, sometimes with a baby nearby. We'll work with the reality of your schedule, not an idealized version of it.
Our therapists draw from a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness-based practices, with specific training in maternal mental health. Your therapist will tailor the approach to what's actually happening for you.
